From January 20-24, USAID Oceans and the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) are hosting a Gender Integration in Fisheries training for gender focal persons from SEAFDEC. The training is part of USAID Oceans’ ongoing work with SEAFDEC to build regional capacity and advance policies related to gender. It will cover topics such as gender sensitivity, gender analysis and tools, action planning, budgeting, and lessons learned from USAID Oceans, SEAFDEC, and partners’ gender integration activities. It will also include a workshop to draft a module on Gender for Leaders, Executives, and Decision Makers in Fisheries (Gender LEAD).
