Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability’s second Seafood “Trackathon”

Building upon the successes of the first Seafood Trackathon, held in Bangkok earlier this year, on October 26th and 27th, the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST) is convening its second Traceability Hackathon, or “Trackathon.” USAID Oceans is partnering with GDST and SecondMuse to put on the event, which will be held at the Fairfield by Marriot in Bali, Indonesia.

The Trackathon is an opportunity to improve seafood traceability along the supply chain and will include a “hackathon” where participants create solutions TOfour challenges based on the perspectives of seafood producers in Southeast Asia. Challenge categories are as follows:

  1. Data verification
  2. Interoperability
  3. Identifier technology
  4. Blockchain integration
